Although no one can predict the future, we all make instinctive assessments of what might happen, mobilising what is known as intuition. Sometimes it’s just a feeling, like guessing who might win the next match.
But when it comes to major decisions, intuition is not enough. It becomes crucial to rely on quality forecasts, analysing the available data to reduce uncertainties.
This requires tools capable of modelling and visualising different possible scenarios. We examine historical data to identify trends, analyse the forces at play and their potential influence – in short, we try to make sense of the future. Using a multidisciplinary approach, sensitive to both weak and strong signals, we practice foresight.
It was in this spirit that Canari Prospective was founded, with the mission of exploring possible futures, preparing for the changes to come and, why not, helping to build that future.
